The Spice Club Crispy Taco Wrap

Ingrediënten
For the filling:
- 1 el olie
- 450 g rundergehakt
- ¼ geraspte gele ui
- 4 tl The Spice Club Taco & Fajita mix
For the Spicy Sour Cream:
- 150 ml zure room
- 4 tl van je favoriete hot sauce
For the wraps:
- 4 grote tortilla’s (burrito-formaat, ca. 25 cm)
- 8 plakjes cheddar of queso
- 1 cup fijngesneden ijsbergsla
- 150 - 200 ml Mexicaanse salsa
- 4 krokante tostadas (of tortilla’s kort gefrituurd of gebakken tot knapperig)
- Neutrale olie om te bakken (bijv. zonnebloem of koolzaad)
- Extra hot sauce, voor erbij
Bereiding
Step 1 - Filling: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Bake the minced meat with the onion in about 5 minutes. Add the Taco & Fajita Mix and stir well. Bake for 2–3 minutes until the moisture has evaporated and the meat is slightly crispy. Set aside.
Step 2 - Make Spicy Sour Cream: In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with the adobo sauce or hot sauce. Taste and add extra to taste.
Place the tortillas on a clean work surface. If necessary, heat them briefly in a dry pan so that they are flexible. Divide in the middle of each tortilla:
- Klein beetje gehaktvulling (plat maken tot ca. 10 cm doorsnee)
- 1 of 2 plakken cheddar over het vlees
- 1 krokante tostada erbovenop, zacht aandrukken
- 2 el spicy sour cream op de tostada
- Handje ijsbergsla
- 3 el tomaten salsa
Step 4 - Folding Wrap: Fold the sides of the tortilla in folds over the middle until everything is closed (a small hole may remain in the middle).
Step 5 - Wrap baking: Heat a little oil in the pan again. Place the wrap with the seam down in the pan and fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 6 - Serve: Serve directly with extra Spicy Sour Cream and Hot Sauce. Repeat for the other wraps.
