Enjoy a heart-warming meal with our delicious leek dish with marjoram. This simple recipe combines tender minced meat and creamy mashed potatoes, enriched with the subtle taste of fresh leek and aromatic marjoram.

  • Butter or oil for frying
  • 1 kilo potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 500 grams of minced meat
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2-3 leeks, washed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons The Spice Club marjoram
  • Salt and pepper
  • Breadcrumbs or panko


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease an oven dish with oil or butter.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain and mash them with a knob of butter or oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Fry the minced meat in a pan with a little butter. Add the garlic and marjoram and fry briefly.
  4. Add the leek to the minced meat and fry until soft. Season with salt, pepper.
  5. Divide the minced meat-leek mixture over the bottom of the oven dish. Cover with the mashed potatoes and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or panko.
  6. Bake the leek dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Serve hot.
