This recipe for honey garlic chicken is a delicious and simple meal full of flavor. Juicy pieces of chicken are baked in a delicious sauce of honey, garlic and The Spice Club Indo Herbs, served with brown rice and vegetables. It is a perfect combination of savory and sweet flavors, making it a favorite for both adults and children.

4 people

  • 3 kipfilets (ongeveer 400 g)
  • 1 ui
  • Bosje lente uitjes (optioneel, ter garnering)
  • 3 teentjes knoflook
  • 3 el sojasaus
  • 3 el honing
  • 300 g bruine rijst
  • 300 g bevroren erwten & wortelen
  • Olijfolie (om te bakken)
  • 4 tl Spice Club Indo
  • The Spice Club Poke(Optioneel ter garnering)

preparation

Step 1: Cook the rice

  • Kook de bruine rijst volgens de instructies op de verpakking. Giet af en zet apart.

Step 2: Preparation of chicken and vegetables

  • Snijd de kipfilets in hapklare stukjes.
  • Snipper de ui en hak de knoflook fijn.

Step 3: Season the chicken

  • Meng de gesneden kip, ui en 3 theelepels The Spice Club Indo kruidenmix in een grote kom.
  • Verhit wat olijfolie in een grote koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de kipstukjes tot ze gaar zijn.
  • Voeg de gehakte knoflook toe en bak nog 1 minuut mee.

Step 4: Prepare the sauce

  • In een kleine kom, meng de sojasaus, honing en 1 theelepel The Spice Club Indo kruidenmix. Roer goed door.
  • Giet het sausmengsel in de koekenpan bij de uien en knoflook. Breng aan de kook en laat 3-4 minuten sudderen, onder af en toe roeren.

Step 5: Cooking vegetables

  • Bereid een aparte pan met water en kook de 300 g bevroren erwten & wortelen volgens de verpakking.

Step 8: Mix

  • Meng in de koekenpan de gebakken kip, gekookte groenten, saus en gekookte rijst. Roer alles goed door.

Step 9: Garnish and serve

  • Garneer het gerecht met lente uitjes en THE SPICE CLUB Poke voor extra smaak en crunch.
