Recipe

Delicious roasted sweet potatoes, seasoned with The Spice Club Potato spice mix and extra virgin olive oil. Perfect as a side dish for any meal.

ingredients

4 persons

  • 900 g sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3.8 cm pieces
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons The Spice Club Potato spice mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • the spice club topping (for garnish)

preparation

Step 1: Heat the Oven

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step 2: Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

  • Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into pieces of about 4 cm.
  • Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add Olive Oil and Spices

  • Add the extra virgin olive oil to the bowl with the sweet potatoes.
  • Sprinkle with The Spice Club Potato spice mix.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix everything together well so that the potato pieces are evenly coated with oil and spices.

Step 4: Roast the Sweet Potatoes

  • Place the seasoned sweet potatoes in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Turn the potatoes halfway through the baking time for even cooking.

Step 5: Serve

  • Remove the roasted sweet potatoes from the oven and let them cool briefly.
  • Serve the potatoes warm as a side dish with your favorite meal.
