Tikka Burritos



These delicious chicken curry wraps are easy to make and packed with flavor. Perfect for novice cooks, they provide a flavorful meal with tender chicken marinated in The Spice Club Curry, seasoned rice and a spicy Greek yogurt sauce. It's a great choice for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner.


4 persons

  • 200 grams of rice
  • 2 chicken fillets, sliced
  • 250 ml low-fat Greek yoghurt, divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons The Spice Club Curry
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 4 whole wheat wraps
  • salt and pepper to taste


Step 1: Preparing the Rice

  • Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.

Step 2: Marinating the Chicken

  • Cut the chicken fillet into slices.
  • Mix the chicken fillet, half of the low-fat Greek yogurt, the lemon juice and The Spice Club Curry in a bowl.
  • Stir well to coat the chicken evenly and let it marinate for a while.

Step 3: Frying the onion and garlic

  • Peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  • Fry the onion and garlic in a pan until translucent.

Step 4: Add Rice and Mint

  • Add the cooked rice to the pan with onion and garlic.
  • Stir in the dried mint and set the mixture aside.

Step 5: Baking the Marinated Chicken

  • Heat a nonstick pan and fry the marinated chicken breast over medium heat until cooked through, about 10 minutes.

Step 6: Preparing Spicy Yogurt Sauce

  • Combine the remaining low-fat Greek yogurt, a clove of garlic, and The Spice Club Curry in a small bowl to make a spicy yogurt sauce.

Step 7: Reheat Wraps

  • Heat the whole wheat wraps according to the instructions on the packaging.

Step 8: Assembling Wraps

  • Lay out a wrap and spread a quarter of the spicy yogurt sauce in the middle.
  • Top with a quarter of the rice and cooked chicken.
  • Fold the wrap tightly to enclose the filling.
