Recipe

Enjoy a creamy and delicious dish with this easy recipe for creamy spinach gnocchi with green goddess herbs. Full of fresh ingredients and tasty herbs. Perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.

ingredients

4 persons

  • 100 g spinach
  • 4 tsp The Spice Club Green Goddess spice mix
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp The Spice Club basil or a bunch of fresh basil
  • Handful of cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp The Spice Club nutmeg (optional)
  • 500g gnocchi
  • The Spice Club chili flakes (optional, for garnish)
  • Grated cheese to taste
  • The Spice Club topping (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

preparation

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Place the spinach, green goddess, garlic, lime juice, basil, cashew nuts and nutmeg in a blender and blend into a smooth sauce. If necessary, add a little water to thin the sauce a bit.
  3. Heat the sauce in a pan and add the cooked gnocchi. Heat everything for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and extra lime zest if necessary.
  5. Serve the creamy spinach gnocchi with optional toppings such as chili flakes, grated cheese and The Spice Club topping. Enjoy it!
