These Loaded Sweet Potato Fries with Chorizo ​​and Chicken are a tasty treat for weekdays. Crispy sweet potato fries are topped with savory chorizo, tender chicken and a creamy sauce. Perfect to enjoy when you have little time, but still want to put something healthy and delicious on the table.

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • 100g chorizo
  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 200 g black beans
  • 1 red pepper
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • Sriracha sauce
  • 2 teaspoons THE SPICE CLUB Potato spice mix
  • Grated cheese
  • Spring onions
  • Fresh coriander
  • salt and pepper to taste


STEP 1: Preheat the oven:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes into fries.
  • Place them on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with THE SPICE CLUB Potato spice mix.
  • Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until crispy.

STEP 2: Fry the chorizo ​​and chicken fillet:

  • Fry the chorizo ​​and chicken fillet in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown and done.
  • Then add the black beans and red pepper and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

STEP 3: Make the creamy sauce:

  • Mix Greek yogurt with sriracha and a teaspoon of THE SPICE CLUB Potato spice mix.

STEP 4: Assemble and serve:

  • Divide the grated cheese and then the chorizo-chicken mixture over the fries.
  • Top with a spoonful of sauce, spring onions and some fresh coriander if desired.
  • The heat from the fries and the chorizo-chicken mixture will melt the cheese.

STEP 5: Serve immediately
