ingredients

4 people

  • 450 g witvisfilet (bijv. kabeljauw, schelvis, heilbot, tilapia of schol)
  • 6 el extra vierge olijfolie
  • 4 el The Spice Club Seafood Lover mix
  • 1 bos lente-uitjes, in dunne ringen (ca. 120 g of 2 flinke handen)
  • Knapperig brood, om erbij te serveren

preparation

Step 1 - Prepare: Pat the fish fillets dry and sprinkle on one side with 2 tbsp of the Seafood Lover Mix and some black pepper. Leave on.

Step 2 - Make herb oil: Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the spring onion and bake for 2–3 minutes until it is soft and odor. Now add the remaining 2 tbsp Seafood Lover Mix Toe and stir well. Reduce the heat slightly so that the herbs do not burn.

Step 3 - Bake fish: Carefully place the seasoned fish fillets in the pan, with the seasoned side down. Bake for 3–4 minutes, turn carefully and bake for another 2–3 minutes until the fish is just cooked and easily falls apart. Spoon occasionally some of the oil over the fish during baking.

Step 4 - Serve: Divide the fish over plates. Spoon generously some of the warm spring-by-herb oil over it. Serve with crispy bread to dip in the oil.
