Try this easy recipe for crispy cod and homemade fries with a tasteful sauce. The fish is covered with a crispy breadcrumb mixture flavored with The Spice Club Fish herbs, while the fries are sprinkled with The Spice Club Potato herbs for extra taste.

Step 1: Preheat the oven and prepare the potato fries

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 200°C.
  • Snijd de aardappelen in frietjes en leg ze op een bakplaat.
  • Strooi 10g The Spice Club Potato-kruiden over de frietjes.
  • Bak de frietjes in de voorverwarmde oven gedurende 25 minuten.

Step 2: Prepare the breadcrumb mixture and the egg mixture

  • Meng in een kom 50g broodkruimels met The Spice Club Fish-kruiden.
  • Klop in een andere kom het hele ei en 10g mosterd.

Step 3: Prepare the cod

  • Dompel elke kabeljauwfilet onder in het eimengsel en bedek ze met het broodkruimmengsel.
  • Leg de gepaneerde visfilets op een bakplaat.

Step 4: Bake the fish and make the sauce

  • Bak de vis gedurende 10-15 minuten in de voorverwarmde oven.

Step 5: Prepare the sauce

  • Terwijl de vis en frietjes bakken, bereid je de saus voor door mosterd, vetvrije Griekse yoghurt, gesneden augurken en een kneepje citroensap in een kom te mengen.

Step 6: Serve and garnish

  • Serveer de knapperige kabeljauw en zelfgemaakte frietjes met de saus aan de zijkant.
