Try this delicious Harissa Honey Chicken with exotic flavors, simple to make, perfect for an easy & healthy weeknight meal.
ingredients
4 persons
4 chicken thighs or chicken fillets
3 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons harissa paste
2 tablespoons THE SPICE CLUB MAROC spice mix
Olive oil
200g Rice, cous cous or quinoa
THE SPICE CLUB TOPPING (optional for garnish)
salt and pepper to taste
preparation
STEP 1: Make marinade
Finely chop 3 cloves of garlic and mix them in a bowl with the juice of 1 lemon, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 spoons of harissa paste and 2 teaspoons of THE SPICE CLUB MAROC spice mix.
Mix everything well so that the marinade is well mixed.
STEP 2: Marinate Chicken
Cut the 4 chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, making sure each piece is well coated. Let the chicken marinate in the tasty marinade for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the rice, cous cous or quinoa according to the instructions on the package
STEP 3: Bake Chicken
Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat.
Add the marinated chicken to the hot pan and fry for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and a nice color.
STEP 4: Serve the Harissa Honey Chicken
Serve the delicious Harissa Honey Chicken.
Add rice or quinoa as a side dish if you wish.
