Honey Chicken Harissa


Try this delicious Harissa Honey Chicken with exotic flavors, simple to make, perfect for an easy & healthy weeknight meal.


4 persons

  • 4 chicken thighs or chicken fillets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons THE SPICE CLUB MAROC spice mix
  • Olive oil
  • 200g Rice, cous cous or quinoa
  • THE SPICE CLUB TOPPING (optional for garnish)
  • salt and pepper to taste


STEP 1: Make marinade

  • Finely chop 3 cloves of garlic and mix them in a bowl with the juice of 1 lemon, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 spoons of harissa paste and 2 teaspoons of THE SPICE CLUB MAROC spice mix.
  • Mix everything well so that the marinade is well mixed.

STEP 2: Marinate Chicken

  • Cut the 4 chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  • Add the sliced ​​chicken to the marinade, making sure each piece is well coated. Let the chicken marinate in the tasty marinade for at least 15 minutes.
  • Cook the rice, cous cous or quinoa according to the instructions on the package

STEP 3: Bake Chicken

  • Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat.
