ingredients

4 people

  • 400 gram kipfilet, in blokjes
  • 1 rode paprika, in reepjes
  • 100 gram cashewnoten, gebrand en ongezouten
  • 1 ui, grof gesnipperd
  • 3 teentjes knoflook, fijngehakt
  • 3 bosuitjes, in grove stukken
  • 2 eetlepels zonnebloemolie
  • 2 eetlepels sojasaus
  • 1 eetlepel oestersaus
  • 1 eetlepel vissaus
  • 4 theelepels The Spice Club Chicken Curry mix

preparation

Bake chicken:

  • Verhit de zonnebloemolie in een grote koekenpan of wok op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de blokjes kipfilet toe en bak ze rondom goudbruin. Haal de kip uit de pan en zet apart.

Fruit onion, garlic and pepper:

  • In dezelfde pan, fruit de grof gesnipperde ui en fijngehakte knoflook tot ze zacht en glazig zijn. Voeg de reepjes rode paprika toe en bak deze 3-4 minuten mee tot ze zacht worden.

Add herbs:

  • Strooi de The Spice Club Chicken Curry mix over het ui-paprika mengsel en bak kort mee tot de geuren vrijkomen.

Spring onion and cashew nuts:

  • Voeg de grove stukken bosui en de gebrande cashewnoten toe aan de pan en roerbak kort voor extra smaak en een knapperige textuur.

Make sauce:

  • Roer de sojasaus, oestersaus en vissaus door het mengsel en laat kort inkoken. Voeg daarna de gebakken kip terug in de pan en schep alles goed om zodat de kip de smaken opneemt.

Serve:

  • Serveer de kip met cashewnoten en rode paprika direct, eventueel met rijst of noedels. Garneer met wat extra bosui voor een frisse bite.
