These chicken thighs with lime are full of taste thanks to a spicy mix of The Spice Club Chicken Herbs, Garlic and Citroen. Perfect for a fast, tasteful meal!

ingredients

4 people

  • 120 g bloem (voor het bedekken)
  • 4 kippendijen, zonder vel en bot (ongeveer 170 g per stuk)
  • 2 eetlepels olijfolie
  • 4 tl The Spice Club Chicken kruidenmix
  • 2 fijngehakte sjalotten
  • 2 fijngehakte knoflook
  • 1 citroenschil geraspt
  • 3 eetlepels citroensap
  • 120 ml kippenbouillon
  • 2 eetlepels ongezouten boter

preparation

Step 1: chicken cover

  • Meng de bloem met de chicken kruidenmix in een kom
  • Bestrooi de kippendijen met bloem en The Spice Club Chicken kruidenmix. Zorg ervoor dat de kip goed bedekt is.
  • Verhit de olijfolie in een grote koekenpan op middelhoog vuur.

Step 2: Baking chickens

  • Bak de kippendijen ongeveer 4-5 minuten per kant, tot ze goudbruin zijn.
  • Haal de kip uit de pan en zet apart.

Step 3: Aromatic basis

  • Voeg de sjalotten en knoflook toe aan dezelfde pan en bak 1-2 minuten tot ze geurig zijn.
  • Voeg de citroenrasp en citroensap toe en roer goed door.

Step 4: Make sauce

  • Voeg de kippenbouillon toe en breng het geheel aan de kook.
  • Laat de saus 3-4 minuten sudderen en voeg dan de boter toe om de saus romig te maken.

Step 5: Serve

  • Doe de kippendijen terug in de pan en laat ze nog 2-3 minuten sudderen in de saus. Zorg ervoor dat de kip goed gaar is.
  • Serveer met de saus erover, en eventueel extra citroensap naar smaak.
