Enjoy a warming bowl The Spice Club Pumpkin Spiced oatmeal with pumpkin, oatmeal and a touch of herbs. Perfect for a healthy and nutritious breakfast or lunch!

ingredients

4 people

  • 4 tl The Spice Club Pumpkin Spice mix
  • 250 g pompoen (puree of gekookte blokjes, gepureerd)
  • 1 liter magere melk of water (naar keuze)
  • 150 g havermout
  • Gehakte verse appel (optioneel)
  • Honing of maple syrup (optioneel, naar smaak)

preparation

Step 1: Heat the liquid

  • Giet de melk of het water in een pan en breng op een middelhoog vuur aan de kook.

Step 2: Add the oatmeal

  • Zodra de melk of het water kookt, voeg je de havermout toe en roer goed door. Zet het vuur lager en laat het zachtjes koken.

Step 3: Add the pumpkin and herbs

  • Voeg de pompoenpuree en 4 tl The Spice Club Pumpkin Spice mix toe aan de pan. Roer alles goed door zodat de smaken zich vermengen.

Step 4: Cook the oatmeal

  • Laat de havermout 5-7 minuten zachtjes doorkoken, terwijl je regelmatig roert, totdat de havermout romig en dik is geworden.

Step 5: Serve

  • Schep de havermout in kommen en garneer eventueel met gehakte verse appel.
  • Voeg naar smaak honing of maple syrup toe voor extra zoetheid.
