Enjoy this delicious shrimp and salami pasta with a creamy white wine garlic sauce and a touch of The Spice Club Pasta Perfection seasoning. A tasty, quick meal!

ingredients

4 Persons

  • 450g shrimp, peeled & tails removed
  • 350 g pasta (preferably spaghetti or penne)
  • 100 g (fennel) salami, thinly sliced ​​into rounds
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tsp The Spice Club Pasta Perfection spice mix
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • ½ bunch parsley, coarsely chopped (optional)

preparation

Step 1: Cook the pasta

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of the pasta water.

Step 2: Prepare the shrimp and salami

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salami and cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Remove the salami from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add half of the butter, followed by the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make the sauce

  • Add the rest of the butter to the pan along with the garlic. Cook the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add The Spice Club Pasta Perfection spice mix and the white wine. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Step 4: Combine the ingredients

  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir well. If necessary, add some of the reserved pasta water to make the sauce creamier.
  • Then add the fried shrimp, crispy salami, lemon zest, lemon juice and. Stir everything well, taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Step 5: Serve

  • Divide the shrimp and salami pasta over the plates and garnish with extra parsley and possibly some lemon slices for extra freshness.
