Stuffed sweet Potato


Learn how to make flavorful stuffed sweet potatoes, perfect for beginners. A simple and delicious recipe!

  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 300 g minced meat of your choice
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400 g)
  • 2 tablespoons THE SPICE CLUB POTATO spice mix
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Fresh coriander
  • salt and pepper to taste


STEP 1: Prepare and Bake Sweet Potatoes

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  • Halve sweet potatoes and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake them for about 30 minutes.

STEP 2: Prepare the minced meat mixture

  • Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cut 1 onion into cubes and chop 2 cloves of garlic. Add them to the pan and fry until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  • Add 300 g of minced meat of your choice to the pan. Cook until the minced meat is brown and completely cooked.
  • Add 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400 g) and 2 tablespoons of THE SPICE CLUB POTATO spice mix to the pan. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to thicken.

STEP 3: Stuffing Sweet Potatoes

  • When the sweet potatoes are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Loosen the inside with a fork.
  • Spoon the ground beef and tomato mixture over each sweet potato.

STEP 4: Garnish and Serve

  • Garnish with a spoonful of Greek yogurt and fresh coriander.
  • If necessary, add some THE SPICE CLUB TOPPING for extra flavor.
  • Season with salt & pepper if necessary
