Peanut Chile Crisp Noodles with garlic, cucumber and peanuts ensure a wonderfully fresh and spicy meal. Perfect for a fast, tasteful lunch or dinner!

4 people

  • 2 el geroosterde pinda’s, fijngehakt
  • 2 tl The Spice Club Chinese five-spice mix
  • 4 teentjes knoflook, geperst
  • 4 el olie
  • 2 el sojasaus
  • 2 tl rijstazijn
  • 2 tl suiker (optioneel)
  • 200g gedroogde udon noedels
  • 1 komkommer, in reepjes gesneden

preparation

Step 1: Preparing the sauce

  • Verhit de olie in een kleine pan op laag vuur. Voeg de geperste knoflook en The Spice Club Chinese five-spice mix toe.
  • Bak de knoflook en specerijen 2-3 minuten zachtjes, totdat de knoflook goudbruin is en de specerijen geurig zijn. Haal van het vuur.
  • Roer de sojasaus, rijstazijn en eventueel de suiker door de warme olie en knoflookmix. Zet dit mengsel apart.

Step 2: Cooking the noodles

  • Kook de udon noedels volgens de aanwijzingen op de verpakking. Giet af en spoel de noedels kort af met koud water om plakken te voorkomen.

Step 3: Mixing the noodles

  • Meng de gekookte noedels met de komkommerreepjes in een grote kom.
  • Giet de knoflookolie en saus over de noedels en komkommers, en roer goed door zodat alles gelijkmatig bedekt is.

Step 4: Garnish and serve

  • Strooi de fijngehakte geroosterde pinda’s over de noedels voor extra crunch en smaak.
  • Serveer direct en geniet van deze heerlijke, smaakvolle noedels!
