  • 280 grams (whole wheat) PENNE
  • 1 UI
  • 4 cloves GARLIC
  • 1 can of TOMATO PUREE
  • 60ml VODKA


Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  • Make sure you cook the pasta al dente so it doesn't become too soft.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and onion and fry for about 2 minutes until soft and fragrant. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.

Step 3: Add Optional Vodka

  • If you choose to add vodka, carefully pour it into the pan with garlic and onion.
  • Simmer briefly to allow the alcohol to evaporate, usually about 1-2 minutes.

Step 4: Tomato Paste and Simmer

  • Now add the tomato puree to the pan. Stir well so that the garlic, onion and tomato puree are mixed.
  • Simmer the mixture for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.

Step 5: Creamy Touch

  • Then add the cooking cream and mix well with the other ingredients.
  • Let the sauce simmer for another 2-3 minutes until it has thickened slightly.

Step 6: Add spices

  • Taste the sauce and add salt and pepper to taste if necessary.

Step 7: Mix Pasta with Sauce

  • Pour the cooked pasta directly into the pan with the sauce.
  • Gently mix the pasta with the sauce so that each pasta is well coated with the delicious flavors.

Step 8: Serving and Garnishing

  • Serve the pasta in plates and garnish with fresh Parmesan cheese or burrata.
