If you are looking for a super quick and delicious Italian dish that will always be a hit at the dinner table, make penne alla vodka. The combination of cream, tomatoes and vodka makes it super tasty and unique.

- 280 grams (whole wheat) PENNE
- 1 UI
- 4 cloves GARLIC
- 1 can of TOMATO PUREE
- 60ml VODKA
- 250 ml COOKING CREAM LIGHT
- Grated (PARMESAN) CHEESE
- 4 tspTHE SPICE CLUB ITALIAN
preparation
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Start by cooking the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- Make sure you cook the pasta al dente so it doesn't become too soft.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and onion and fry for about 2 minutes until soft and fragrant. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Step 3: Add Optional Vodka
- If you choose to add vodka, carefully pour it into the pan with garlic and onion.
- Simmer briefly to allow the alcohol to evaporate, usually about 1-2 minutes.
Step 4: Tomato Paste and Simmer
- Now add the tomato puree to the pan. Stir well so that the garlic, onion and tomato puree are mixed.
- Simmer the mixture for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
Step 5: Creamy Touch
- Then add the cooking cream and mix well with the other ingredients.
- Let the sauce simmer for another 2-3 minutes until it has thickened slightly.
Step 6: Add spices
- Now stir THE SPICE CLUB ITALIAN spice mix into the sauce. This will give your pasta a delicious Italian flavor.
- Taste the sauce and add salt and pepper to taste if necessary.
Step 7: Mix Pasta with Sauce
- Pour the cooked pasta directly into the pan with the sauce.
- Gently mix the pasta with the sauce so that each pasta is well coated with the delicious flavors.
Step 8: Serving and Garnishing
- Serve the pasta in plates and garnish with fresh Parmesan cheese or burrata.
- Sprinkle THE SPICE CLUB TOPPING over the pasta for an extra tasty twist.
