ingredients

4 people

  • 8 kipdijen of kippenpootjes met bot en vel
  • 2 eetlepels olijfolie
  • 4 theelepels The Spice Club Chicken
  • 6 teentjes knoflook, gepeld
  • 6 middelgrote sjalotten, gepeld en gehalveerd
  • 2 bakjes cherrytomaten
  • ½ kopje gehalveerde en ontpitte dadels (optioneel)
  • 1 kopje groene olijven, zonder pit
  • 100ml droge witte wijn (optioneel)
  • 280gr gekookte rijst, om te serveren
  • Zout en peper naar smaak

preparation

  1. Verwarm de oven voor op 200°C.
  2. Wrijf de kipdijen in met de The Spice Club kipkruiden.
  3. Verhit de olijfolie in een grote ovenbestendige pan op middelhoog vuur.
  4. Bak de kipdijen aan beide kanten goudbruin, ongeveer 4-5 minuten per kant.
  5. Voeg de knoflook, sjalotten, cherrytomaten, dadels en groene olijven toe aan de pan.
  6. Giet de witte wijn erbij (indien gebruikt) en breng aan de kook.
  7. Breng op smaak met zout en peper.
  8. Dek de pan af en zet hem in de voorverwarmde oven. Bak gedurende 25-30 minuten, of tot de kip gaar is en de groenten zacht zijn.
  9. Serveer de kip Provençaals met gekookte rijst.
