Enjoy delicious Vistacos, prepared with Tilapia and seasoned with< -T0001>The Spice Club Mexican Mix. Serve the tacos on warm corn dolls and garnish with crispy purple cabbage, creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, spicy red onion, fresh coriander and cheese. Finish with a fresh lime sauce and optionally sweet mango pieces for an extra flavor dimension. These colorful and tasteful tacos bring the authentic Mexican cuisine to your table.

For the tacos:

  • 24 kleine witte maïstortilla's​
  • 600 gram witvis naar keuze (bijvoorbeeld tilapia filets​)
  • 4 eetlepels The Spice Club Mexican Mix​
  • 1 eetlepel olijfolie
  • 1 eetlepel ongezouten boter​

For the toppings:

  • ½ kleine paarse kool, dun gesneden​
  • 2 middelgrote avocado's, in plakjes​
  • 2 roma-tomaten, in blokjes (optioneel)​
  • ½ rode ui, fijngesnipperd​
  • bosje koriander, blaadjes geplukt​
  • 115 gramt geraspte kaas of feta
  • 1 limoen, in 8 partjes​
  • Mango, in blokjes (optioneel)​

For the sauce:

  • 150 ml zure room​
  • 50 ml mayonaise​ light
  • 2 eetlepels limoensap (van 1 middelgrote limoen)​
  • 1 theelepel Sriracha-saus (of naar smaak)

preparation

Preparation:

  • Verwarm de oven op 200 graden
  • Dep de tilapiafilets droog met keukenpapier.​
  • Leg de tilapia's in een ovenschaal en bestrooi beide zijden van de filets gelijkmatig met The Spice Club Mexican Mix.​
  • Besprenkel met olijfolie en voeg de boter toe aan de ovenschaal
  • Bak de gekruide tilapiafilets 20-25 minuten

Prepare sauce:

  • Meng in een kom de zure room, mayonaise, limoensap en Sriracha-saus.​
  • Roer goed door en zet apart.​

Heat tortillas:

  • Verwarm de maïstortilla's kort in een droge koekenpan op middelhoog vuur, ongeveer 30 seconden per kant, tot ze warm en licht geroosterd zijn.​
  • Houd de tortilla's warm door ze in een schone theedoek te wikkelen.​

Compile tacos:

  • Leg op elke warme tortilla een portie gebakken tilapia.​
  • Voeg naar wens toppings toe: paarse kool, avocado, tomaat, rode ui, koriander, Cotija-kaas en eventueel mango.​
  • Druppel de saus over de toppings.​
  • Serveer met een partje limoen om over de taco te persen.​
