Enjoy this delicious pappardelle with sage-butter sauce! Combine fresh pasta with a creamy sauce of butter, sage and lemon. Easy to make and full of flavour. Buon appetito!


4 persons

  • 250 grams of fresh pappardelle or pasta of choice
  • 100 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 50 grams (unsalted) butter
  • 4 tsp The Spice Club Sage·PURCHASE🛍️
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of cream


Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Finely chop the sage leaves.
  • Grate the zest of the lemon and squeeze the juice.

Step 2: Cook the pappardelle

  • Bring a pan of water to the boil.
  • Add the pappardelle and cook according to package directions until al dente, usually about 3 minutes.

Step 3: Make the sauce

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat.
  • Add the finely chopped sage leaves and fry briefly.
  • Add the lemon zest and cream, simmer gently and turn off the heat.

Step 4: Mix and serve

  • Drain the cooked pappardelle and place in a bowl.
  • Pour the butter-sage sauce over it, add lemon juice and part of the Parmesan cheese.
  • Mix everything well and serve with extra Parmesan cheese. Buon appetito!
