  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), cut into 8 pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon the spice club garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon the spice club nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon the spice club black pepper
  • 1½ cups whipped cream, at room temperature
  • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • 340 grams cooked pasta, for serving

preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the garlic powder, nutmeg, salt and black pepper. Stir well.
  3. Add the cream and bring to the boil. Simmer until the mixture thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  6. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta and enjoy!

Optionally, you can mix the pasta directly with the sauce in the frying pan for a delicious Pasta Alfredo.
