preparation

Step 1:Start by preparing the ingredients. Finely chop the onion, cut the garlic into pieces and slice the tomatoes. Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl and add the juice of half a lime. Mix everything together well.

Step 2:Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the finely chopped onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes until soft and fragrant. Then add the minced meat and fry until completely cooked. When the meat is almost done, add 2 tablespoons of THE SPICE CLUB MEXICAN spice mix and tomato puree. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend the flavors.

Step 3:Place a tortilla on a plate and cut it from the center down so that you have four quarters. Fill each quarter with the following ingredients (not too thick):

  • Bottom left with the minced meat mixture
  • Above left with the avocado puree
  • Top right with tomato slices
  • Bottom right with grated cheese

Fold the tortilla one quarter at a time (clockwise) starting at the bottom left.

Step 4:Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the folded quesadilla on both sides until golden brown and crispy. Turn regularly. You can also use a sandwich maker or grill instead of a pan.

Step 5:For the dip, mix Greek yogurt with 1 scoop of THE SPICE CLUB MEXICAN spice mix and the juice of half a lime. Stir well.

Step 6:Serve the quesadilla warm, together with the delicious Mexican yogurt dip. Enjoy this tasty and easy-to-prepare meal!
